Afraid To Lose It All

In your eyes I see a truth,
A love that shines every day.
How can you feel this?
When I'm only a girl flawed in so many ways.

Your so careful when I'm I your arms.
So gentle, yet you still hold me tight.
When I lean against your body
And I close my eyes,
My fears and pain begin to melt away.

I feel your warmth
The touch of your hands, so soft
I feel your breath, warm against my skin.
I wonder how long this can really last.

I've never been this close to anyone
I've never felt feelings so strong.
I'm scared; I don't want to lose it all.
I'm afraid I'm going to lose you
And then I'll have lost it all.
