Deep desperation,

Pain and sorrow.

Crying out for help

Praying that someone hears

Suffering loneliness,

Shuddering and afraid.

Losing faith in each other,

Hope is almost gone

In the darkness,

The silence is so loud.

Shame becomes overwhelming,

Fear begins to take hold.

Life slowly ending.

Joy is gone, only suffering is left.

Tormenting them, strangling them,

They struggle to breathe.

Darkness falls again

The sorrow deepens

And they fade away
