I enjoy jazz and classical music. I particularly like
the Pat Metheny Group-
they're at the top of my jazz list. My jazz interests also include Bela
Fleck and the Flecktones, the
late Miles
Davis, Mark Isham,
the Yellowjackets,
Herbie Hancock,
Chick
Corea, Gary
Burton, and Jack
DeJohnette. Kenny G not spoken here.
On the classical side, Igor
Stravinsky, Charles
Ives, Alan Hovhaness and J.S. Bach are at the top. I tend to like a
lot of modern classical music but find that most radio stations and
orchestras don't program it often enough. However, I send my kudos to the Boston
Symphony - they program a fair amount of new music.
I also enjoy Milton Nascimento, Kitaro,
Yes, Mannheim
Steamroller, Vangelis,
Mark Isham, Tangerine
Dream, and a lot of Eastern ethnic music. |
